Ligularia/ Macro Monday

Autumn blooming Ligularia, sometimes called elephant ears

I love this plant for many reasons: it flowers in September, it grows in the shade, it has interesting blossoms, its leaves are green with purple undersides, and its seed pods are fluffy and attractive in winter.
