Lake Ontario last Saturday
Winds were churning the lake making waves and murky water, and the light was eerie, all of which created a scene I couldn't resist taking a photo of.

What a great photo. Beautiful shot.
Oh, I love this...it looks threatening.
I always think about the early pioneers/settlers being on the Great Lakes or crossing the Mississippi in canoes and think I would not have had the heart. I even felt like this when I was young!
love the imagery.
watery view are cool.
Great shot - lots of action in that water. It does look cold though!

Great picture, but it looks so cold there!!
A scene with this kind of light only comes along once in awhile. Great capture! It is spooky; feels like a huge storm is brewing and is about to explode over the earth at any moment.
P.S. Glad you liked our Stone Creek snow! Fortunately it doesn't stay on the ground long! :-)
Wonderful picture.
Great shot of the lake.
Mother Nature can create some really interesting scenes, glad you captured this one. Beautiful photo.
Looks like it could be frozen any time now! Powerful water.

Beautiful! it looks like the weather is very cold there:)
Lake Ontario is a photographer's resource. There are so many things that change it's look from day to day. Nice photo of a windy day.
You could express the strong wind in such a beautiful way. Hope you don't catch a cold...
It looks pretty out there...

PRAISING WATER
Water here and water there,
Water, water everywhere!
Water to restore the soul,
Water in a cup or bowl;
Water gushing in the sink,
Water clear or dark as ink;
Water in the stream and bog,
Water for the newt and frog;
Water to refresh the wheat,
Water washing dusty feet;
Water chasers everywhere
With loud praises do declare
That there is no finer thing—
Water is both queen and king!
