Unknown mushroom(s)
I have no idea what kind of mushroom this is but it was growing underneath a pine tree last Friday. I think it's actually several mushrooms. I took the photo because I liked the quirky shapes.

Mushrooms are very interesting; there are so many varieties and they grow in so many places!
another mushroom in strange shape this monday, there are so many and we know so few by name
I've never seen one like this before. Really interesting!

Interesting subject...great shot!
I have not seen this type of mushroom before and it's very unusual looking - thanks for sharing!
This is pretty unique form for a mushroom. Happy Monday!

I have been taking mushroom photos, too, but none as nice as this one. In fact, some of mine are even a little gross.
Looks like several mushrooms being squash together! lol
Interesting shape I'd say...great photo.
Interesting looking mushroom. You got a really great shot of it.
Have no idea me either what cind of of mushroom that is ??
But I love the shape !
I don't think my guests would haved liked these in my beef stroganoff tonight.
it looks a bit velvet-like
great shot
Nice shot, but it doesn't look familiar to me either.
Very quirky shapes and even the texture and tone seem quite unusual! Great shot!
I thought it was some kind of fuzzy, furry little animal all scrunched up to keep out the cold!
Well, that's a gnarly 'shroom. MB
I like the shapes too
you asked about the effects on my MYM shot
I took it from across the lake and it was blurry so I played with softening the edges to make the blur look intentional and then I added vibrance to the center to accentuate the yellow leaves
all done in Picnik and all a happy accident :)
It's very interesting! Looks to me like a teddy bear hugging himself.
Looks like a few mushrooms cuddled together!
I like the way funghi grows together like this and just fits itself around the other fruiting parts!
I thought they were some kind of creature at first, lol. Lovely!
These are quirky shapes indeed. But they do result in a great macro.
Looks like they are snuggling up to stay warm!
Now that is a very unique shape...very cool!
