Field of hay bales, Uxbridge, Ontario
Last Saturday morning, the sun tried valiantly to pry it's way through cracks in the cloud layers, but the clouds really were too heavy for the sun to win.

I could see a great light that escaped thru that thick clouds. Nice foreground shot too!
The bands of sky color are a perfect backdrop for the chilly hay bales and tree.
In the tussle between the sun and the clouds, the oolor effect of the sunrise is superb.
Beautiful photo, it certainly looks cold. That's how my area would have looked yesterday morning if the sun had peeked through.

I took a drive on Saturday and was surprised to see north of hwy. 7, light snow on the ground. Now that I am posting to SkyWatch Friday I also am looking up.
