Close up of old rusty farm machinery
Old farm machinery is a common site along country roads in East Gwillimbury. This was found next to the driveway into an old but still active farm.

You find this kind of thing everywhere in rural areas of the U.S., too. I've often wondered why people let machinery go to rot out in the elements? Some of it must retain some usefulness.
Your picture really brings home the notion of waste - at least to me...
Rust is one of my favorite subjects!
I must confess....I also love rust. It shows history.
It certainly is rusty! I like the color though.
I love the color of rust! Great macro!
And you are right - it is no fun to be doing laundry and not blogging! LOL...
Love rust as long as it isn't on the car:-).
Great textures in this shot!

What a great take on the theme. Very abstract and cool shot.
Nice one. I enjoy seeing the artistry you can produce by careful study of old and rusted machinery.
Great macro! what kind of machinery is this?
Great textures in this image!!
Wow! I am surprised how good this looks in a photo! Great job!
Hi EG Wow, that is a unique photo subject and the color is lovely. It doesnt look like rust at all in the photo. BTW, thanks for visiting my site.
How come your rusty pictures look better than my rusty pictures? I must try harder. MB
This is so cool. I wonder how long the machinery has been sitting there...
The rust just jumps out at me. Great!
the rust can create such a fascinating art! you did justice here. :)
Your shot brings out beauty from old rusty machinery!
Rust really is amazing... love the colours and textures...
I see a lot of old forgotten rusty farm equipment around my neck of the woods. After a while, it becomes part of the landscape. Great shot.
very rusty; so beautiful!
I tried to figure out what it was, but I failed. Nice shot though.
I love things like this.
(All of my submissions are on my photography blog now rather than CoI)
That is a great shot - I love the angles and the way you've cropped in tight! The colours are perfect, too!
This photo is a real work of art.
