Sunset Over Grain Bins/ Sky Watch

From my archives

The skies have been fairly grey over Ontario this week so here's a photo from the past. My fingers are crossed that the clouds open up this week to reveal a few gorgeous sunsets.

I dare not complain about the weather as the "colossal storm" predicted for Wednesday was not so bad. We DID get more snow but no record-breaking amounts. YAY!

The variations of the sky throughout any 24-hour period can be both disturbing and surprising. I prefer a view like this one!!

When the sky resembles an artist's paint palette, the view is stunning... love this photo.

The one thing that scares me about moving to Toronto is the weather. I have lived in cold places before, but not where you get so much snow.

Love this sunset shot. And hope you get some clear skies this weekend!

Yes the cloudy and grey days seldom permit photo ops---at least one as nice as this. Hang in there---they will return. MB

While the rest of North America would love the weather we are enjoying, I'm wishing for a storm that will not come in time. We are heading for Yosemite soon and I was hoping for some nice snow pictures.

Those long tailed duck are beautiful, we don't see them here.

Good to know that the predicted storm was not so bad at all and that you're safe.
Yes, our place is in the north of Sweden but still far from the northern tip of the country.
