Kathy, Not spring yet, but our coldest month statistically is January and now that we half way into February we can HOPE for a tad bit warmer weather. :))
Don't you just love those sunny crisp and clear Feb. days. We had a few and now it is just rain rain rain. But that means it is warmer out and the early spring bulbs are just poking out of the ground. MB
East Gwillimbury is a rural town less than an hour north of Toronto, Canada's largest city.
My family calls me CameraGirl because I take my camera with me wherever I go.

Can that mean that spring may be near?

Oh those colours!
I like the twists and turns in your ribbon. Great shot. It looks like you were getting a little sun.
Scenic and sunny indeed! Does that ribbon of melted water guarantee us that Spring is getting closer?!
what beautiful subtle colours in the trees and such a nice contrast with the snow
Gorgeous. We'll get some melting in my part of the world too.
Looks cold! I love the colors, though; the reds make it look like it was taken 20 years ago!
Love how the line of water draws one into the scenery.
great shot, it's blowing a gale force here again on Windy Hill!!

Starting to see subtle signs that the worst is over! Good shot of the water. Looks like it was gorgeous there on Friday!

I love your scenes!
I passed a similar sight, with snowmobile tracks going around it. No hole, so they escaped! I was too surprised to take a photo!
I love the blue tones in this photo. Bet it would be beautiful in B&W.
It seems you are edging towards spring.
I wish I could come explore your area...you have so many interesting shots.
Another postcard-worthy shot!
I love sunny cold days! Lovely photo!
Lovley colors, EG!
