Good heavens, isn't that interesting DNA! No, can't say I've seen a unicoloured horse with a different ear!
[I wasn't about to get out of the car to test whether the macaques were naughty; every other type of monkey I've come across certainly is! But we had been warned not to get too close to them, so I guess that answers your question, EG. :-) ]
Nice shot. If you google Medicine Hat horse you will see several similar horses. A true medicine hate is all white horse with both ears and poll a different color. Prized by some First nation cultures. BTW: If you google snag boat you will see what they do or click on the link I provided. MB
Wow I've seen Tobianos and Roans and Paints, but never a Medicine Hat coloration...must show this to my daughter out in Alberta...she has 9 horses and just purchased a gorgeous grey roan....she trains them for barrel racing.
I just Loved! exploring your blog and yes I do know where you live....I'm just a hop, skip, jump away near Huntsville....a Little Itty Bitty town called Novar....I hope you get a chance to explore my site and experience our 4 seasons through my lenses. I'm a huge fan of Algonquin and spend as many seasons there as I can.... Nice to meet you in this wonderful virtual world of ours...
No nerver seen one like that before, fun that it was only one ear! I see that the garden you were looking at also had a lot of snoww still, but it is lovely that the sky from time to time is all blue, MB
East Gwillimbury is a rural town less than an hour north of Toronto, Canada's largest city.
My family calls me CameraGirl because I take my camera with me wherever I go.

Wow. I have never seen a horse colored like that! How unique.
That ear is just adorable!
I have never seen this before. Love his ear.
Beautiful horse. I love when they have their winter coats.
Me either! Certainly gives him a uniqueness factor.
What a unique fellow. He's looking a little cold though. ;-)
He's so interesting. I wonder what the owners have named him.
Such a wonderful horse!
Have a nice weekend
I suppose that makes him easy to find if you forget in what aisle you left him in the parking lot!
That is a unique looking horse! I've seen many interesting colors but none quite like this one.
He is beautiful!
Camera Critters, have a great weekend.
Amazing, if this was a human, he'd have all sorts of issues about it! Great photo.
That is unique coloring. Doesn't seem to bother him, though. He's enjoying a nice doze in the sun.
Never seen it before! Reminds me of a unicorn.
Great looking horse.
Never! So cool a capture. Pretty horse!
What a find! I've never seen anything like this.
That horse need a knight!
That is most unusual! It looks like it's sleeping :)
How incredible! It really does stand out! Maybe this lovely horse had a brown papa or mama!

I've never seen a pure white horse and certainly not one with a brown ear. It's magnificent!

Now that makes him very unique.
With his eyes closed he looks like he has a smirky grin. :)

how interesting! great photo.
when I was a kid, my mom's friend had a standard poodle that was all white except for his whole head and neck that was black!
I used to scare my sister by saying that it had had a head transplant!
He's adorable, and no I haven't seen this before. I like this color combination!
Aww, he's so cute -- I have never seen a horse with one colored ear, that certainly makes him look unique!
Visiting from Camera Critters :-)

He is unique indeed.
How unusual. Great shot!
It is a first for me, but, then again, I am no expert on horse ears!

Spring will soon be here! (I hope)
Now that is a very distinguishing mark!
I seen MB's post about this being a Medicine hat...had never heard of them. Learn something new almost every day in blogging.
