Lungwort/ Macro Monday

Bethlehem sage (aka lungwort) in my garden

Every spring I look forward to seeing these pure white flowers growing under a linden tree. where they get spring sun but are shaded most of the rest of the growing seasonn.

Bethlehem sage, a longer view

Pink Bethlehem sage blossoms that turn blue as they age

Very pretty. Are all the "worts" related? We have spiderworts here.
I actually live fairly close to texwisgirl!

The white flowers are really pretty, but then I saw the 'blue' ones. I can't decide which I like best. Both are really nice.

Oh they look so pretty, EG. I never really cared for them because the leaves always looks mouldy to me. It is also called Pulmonaria. Yours look beautiful. MB

Very pretty! I know the purple ones but have not seen the white before. I like their spotty leaves.

You do such a fabulous job with close-ups. I think the white flowers are lovely, but the lavender ones are knock out gorgeous. An awesome post.
