Darla, The truth is DH and I were homeward bound when we noticed how beautiful the sky was getting, so we pulled into the parking lot of this golf course and I took a slew of photos. This was one of the ones I liked best. :)
I've taken sunset shots from this golf course before and the people there are very tolerant of me and my camera.
Such gorgeous, dramatic skies and a breathtaking way to end the day! Superb capture as always! Thanks for sharing the beauty! Happy SWF! Have a beautiful weekend!
That is one epic sunset! And what a bonus, doubling our pleasure with its reflection in the pond! It's beyond gorgeous. (And Wren's comment cracked me up - I agree!) :-)
East Gwillimbury is a rural town less than an hour north of Toronto, Canada's largest city.
My family calls me CameraGirl because I take my camera with me wherever I go.

I'm loving the rich colors.
That is the most beautiful sunset yet. Love those colors and the way it is reflected in the water.
The right place at the right time. Did you sit and wait for the magic to happen?

Beautiful, EG!
Ah, so glorious!
God, it is amazing that these are natural colors and not the result of Steven Spielberg colorizing your photo.
Hee! That's where I was last weekend. Yesterday's "House" was from the East Wing course. Do you play?
PS: Your sky is fantastic!

Zounds! And look at that reflection!
It's a good thing you didn't "wait" for this as it was probably all gone in a few minutes.
But you are still funny...although I think your comment about "waiting" was just jerking me around!

Spectacular shot. :)
Warm and lovely colors.
Unbelievable!!!! Yet I MUST believe! Superb shot.
Wow, the color is just stunning! Beautiful sky and the reflection is gorgeous. Great capture, happy skywatching!
Beautiful colors there! A golf course has much better use as a scenic background than as an arena for chasing little white balls with sticks. :)
