Railroad X-ing
If you saw my Sunday post HERE, you know I have been playing with peephole photography. This photo was taken through a plastic peephole (unlike the metal and glass one in Sunday's post), which makes the photo look almost as if it were taken with a LOMO camera (which also has plastic lenses).
Same photo as first but edited using an exclusion filter
Not happy with the results in the first photo, I decided to play with it. I think the exclusion (aka X-clusion for this post) filter is kinda fun here.
Reflection in low light of an X
Last Saturday evening, I was out taking sunset photos. Waiting for the sky to change colour, we looked down to see this X reflected in a puddle.

I like what you've done with the peep-hole lens, but that last picture is really nice.
I really like all of these!
I truly understand why your blog title is WOW. B

*** By the way, you are right about the architecture in Brazil.Ipanema Steak House facade is very different from the buildings in Brazil.
:)
Wow, what great effects you have gotten in these photographs. The peep hole effects are really good.
I thought i was drunk on the last photo, you found a great X today. i like that reflection shot
I like your peephole experiments very much.
I just love your hybrid lomo effects. I'm looking at options for putting a fisheye on the front end of my lomo diana mini.
Wow - very cool shots indeed!
I like your creative approach to the X. Nice experiments. I rather like the reflection shot, but the Xclusion filter is nice too.
amazing pictures.Everyday I wish Icould take great pictures, I can draw and tattoo darn near anything but perfect photography eludes me like my own personal white whale. thanks ffor sharing

love it,
the shots with X shape look beautiful.
You had fun with that! We've lost our Island train, the E&N, so no railway X-ings here.
Simply beautifully captured shots...lovely!
I was amazed on Sunday post, and again I'm amazed to see how your invention has improved. Its effect is terrific in the second and the last.
XXXXXcellent.... peep hole and all!
So creative! I love the last one.
Those are creative and stunning photos! Makes me want to get out and play with my camera..
what a creativ x :) xo tina
You very cleverly covered the X post, in word and image. Thumbs up to the peephole results (today and Sunday) too... I am partial to the last reflection shot.
Hi again!
Love your ‘X’ post - great captures!

That makes for a pretty cool effect!
=)
Ver interesting. Not sure why, but I am drawn to the third one - I like it a lot. Part of it is fuzzy, almost like an oil painting... but in contrast, there is metallic finish. Nice colours too.
I like that idea of peephole photography! Well done on the letter X!
How interesting! I have a friend who experimented with peephole photography once too and the results were interesting. I think the ones you took are quite interesting and I hope you continue to experiment with this!
i'm really impressed!!
magnificent composition and perspective!
you're so inventive!!
Great photos!
What xcellent and interesting photography.
This is such a different technique!
I'm going to send this link to my son-in-law! He loves special effect photography, too!
