Heading north to Muskola
This week's Alphabe-Thursday challenge is not a letter in the alphabet. Nope, this week our assignment is to post autumn colour.
Some of Ontario's best colour is in Muskoka - part of Ontario's Cottage Country - which is halfway between the Equator and the North Pole (I kid you not) so reds and oranges have already given way to yellows and bare branches.

But fear not! We chose a delightful, bright sunny day in early October for our road trip/ photo shoot.

Lovely -- especially the last photo. The reflection is amazing. :)
Your area takes the prize for color. Wish I were in the car driving down that road.

One of the very few things I miss about Ontario is the colour in the fall. Nice photos!

Very pretty, EG. I will post some fall color on Friday. It has been weak so far.

WOW... beautiful!! and I learned something new. :)
Okay, seeing as how it gets really cold up there for a long, long time during the winter and all the trees are bare and your wee toes freeze off, I think it's only fair that you get to enjoy this kind of beautiful scenery for a few weeks and do appreciate your sharing it with us!
we do live in a beautiful part of the country don't we....

your end of the world is looking lovely :)
I saw mums today at Lowe's that would qualify for autumn color. Our leaves have not started turning yet! It was 85 degrees two days ago but yesterday it turned cool and fall is finally in the air.
Beautiful! I wish I could jump into your pictures for a getaway!

Beautiful colours! What a shame they have to give way to the cold and dark.

How beautiful! I miss those vibrant colours. Years ago I spent a fall weekend at Camp Tapawingo in Parry Sound - I remember the colour of the leaves and the smell from wood fires. Lovely memories!
Oh my for sure goodness autumn has come to where you are! Fantastic!
Simply glorious.

So beautiful, I've always wanted to go to Canada. Maybe someday.
The autumn colors in western Canada are mostly aspens, but their yellow splendor always excites me. Great photos!!
Oh so gorgeous! You are getting quite a show! not quite so colorful here...yet.
What glorious colors!
This is what I miss with Autumn in the desert. This felt like a visit home for me.
