Pretty. It reminds me of some plant (I think it had the word, Indian, in its name) that we would crush up, wrap in paper, and smoke when we were kids. Well, not me, of course, just the "bad" kids. Heh, heh.
I love goldenrod...I always start that Helen Hunt Jackson poem over and over when I see it...you know the one...the goldenrod is yellow, the corn is turning brown, the trees in apple orchard with fruit are bending down...I bet I have said that stanza a million times in my lifetime.

oh so thats what its called. we have lots of those in our front yard by the pond. so many bees and butterflies. i find them beautiful though.. =)
