This week in south-central Ontario
The largest square: In some places the trees are bare and leaves line the ground below. Moving clockwise: asters are still in bloom; red haws hang on their branches; witch hazel swing in the breeze; fox grapes are ready to be eaten by wildlife; and many trees are still showing colour

I love it when you do this.
Autumn is approaching on quiet feet, slowly. Isn't it lovely?
Autumn is indeed quiet most of the time, but is a forerunner to a nastier period...ole' man winter!
the red haws and witch hazel are new to me. i thought they were cherries. all of the photos are beautiful.
Love your collage... it really says 'Autumn!' Especially the back lit maple leaf.......
I dislike the wild grapes as their vines get tangled up in everything.
Great series of photos though, very Autumnal
More colors of autumn. I love it. You are a little ahead of us!
Stunning collage!
I like those red haws. Here we have black ones. I think the old-timers used to make jelly from them.
Your collages are always a treat - and a quick way to give us a taste of life as it is in your neck of the woods.
Re your comment Stone Creek about the community having "spirit." I think what you meant is that the community has "spirits!" Boo! :-)
I never knew what witch hazel looked like, cool!

This is a beautiful collage ofautumn and its colors.
What a pretty collection of images. Fall just passes by too quickly.
Love the collage. B
Wonderful autumn collage!
Beautiful mosaic, love all the pretty fall colors and the grapes. Great photo, have a wonderful day.
Lovely..witch hazel is in my skin care and now I know it doesn't grow in a bottle... about hawk migration. I don't know much about it and want to research it as there is a counting point about an hour from here.. Not that I would want to stand for hours with a pair of binocs looking skyward, but at least I could be more aware...Michelle
Nice Autumn collage!
Lovely shots - autumn tones are so photogenic.
Lovely shots. The autumn colours are so much more saturated in your area than here is southern California.
