Interesting to see a nostalgically realistic mural. Your fellow Ontario blogger in Toronto often shows very brightly colored murals in contemporary styles. Maybe it is the difference between city and country.
East Gwillimbury is a rural town less than an hour north of Toronto, Canada's largest city.
My family calls me CameraGirl because I take my camera with me wherever I go.

Seeing an image like that you can't help but to think "was that a better time?" Very nice.
Wow, that is a fabulous mural. At first I thought it was one of your photos that you had treated with texture!
that's very cool. i like these murals and also ads painted on brick. :)
This is fantastic! I also thought it was a photo of yours that you had treated.
Now that's a nice mural. It is something that a city can be proud of! I sure wish we could return to rail travel in this country!
Super mural - I have a friend in Markdale but have never been up there!

Wonderful artistic display of days gone by...
An exceptional mural - very realistic. I'm sure it must have been based on a photograph so it's now gone full-circle.
What a beautyful mural! Railway is part of history, it's great to see such tributes.
This mural is really beautiful and I can only imagine what railroads meant for the history of many towns there...
God bless you!

Railways played an important role in Canadian history. I almost feel as if I could walk right into this mural scene.
