So funny! On one of our local rivers there is a Canada Goose, just one, that has spent the whole winter there by itself, though it's made friends with some mute swans.
You're one of the winners in my recent blog giveaway! Please email me your address to juliet.m.wilsonATgmailDOTcom and I'll pass it on to Yorkshire Water who will then send you your prize (a kit to make fat cakes for your garden birds) directly to you. Congratulations!
Hmmm I wonder if some feathers would make my bum look better???? What a great laugh for the morning! I love it! I did note that they're hiding their faces like any respectable duck would do!! Hope you and the ducks have a great weekend!
I have to say, the photo was priceless, but the comments have been just as much fun! Aren't you glad you took a chance on embarassing the geese? Look at what we would have missed! However, I am sure the decency police will be knocking at your door at any minute. Hope you have a permission slip signed for the photo! Have a great day!

My family calls me CameraGirl because I take my camera with me wherever I go.

Nice of them to show off their buns for the camera.
Ohhh, they are all saying "Does this photo make my bum look fat!"

Nothing cuter that a fat goose derriere! Wonderful processing on these. Love them! :)
I must say I am enjoying everyone's comments as well as the photo itself, a good way to start a snowy Friday morning,

ha ha and I wish my bum looked that good and that i could stand on one foot without falling over.
I just think that they are merely cooperative so photographers like you can get a good photo!
Too funny, I won't tell them it's here :)

You can't escape the paparazzi!
Superb gray colors in the water, I love those beautiful reflections.
I just LOVE the reflections of the geese! :) Bums or not :))
Funny and I did mallards..must be all the rain bringing out the waterfowl
Fun shot, somehow Canada geese do not strike me as shy types, they will be showing this photo to all their friends.....
Wish mine looked that good!:) Wonderful photo!
Great shot and title! I really like the composition. Is there ice in the water? Feels like summer here, it's 81F/27C right now.
I wonder if they think of you as paparazzi!
I love your perspective, it puts us right there
Awwww....those are some cute bums!
Cute shot!
You might be picketed demanding that the picture be taken down and an apology issued! (Neat picture!)
Amazing reflection.
I didn't have you pegged as a voyeur.
what a striking shot...
I never get tired of seeing these guys, and since the creek behind our house is still open they are still hanging around. Have a great weekend EG.

Too cute! Some of the comments are as funny as this photo! Thanks for the chuckle!
Undersides of geese. Whodathunkit? Great reflections, unlike any others!

They look cold!!! Nice capture--I guess it means you were out in the cold too. We'll just do ANYTHING to get a good picture, won't we! Mickie :)
