Icy Cold/ Watery Wednesday

 Icy cold but not ice!

Last Saturday my camera lens captured blue skies and fluffy clouds in the east but the sun was actually behind overcast skies in the west. The shore in the distance was in sun, while the shore I was standing on was in shade.

 Waves splashing onto the shore

The sunny morning was turning into a moody afternoon.

I am linking to Watery Wednesday where you can find many more watery photos.

Looks cold. A friend and I went down the shore this past weekend and took some photos. It was cold down the Jersey shore too! However, water no matter what the temperature always makes for great pics. :)

Marvellous capture of the waves EG - the "texture" of the water is fabulous. Thanks for sharing.

I love watching the surf. It doesn't look that cold at all. Sorry about Mr. Linky. I'm re-entering your link for you.

Oh, you won't believe it but last week was very special to us here in So. California esp. L.A. and the neighboring cities. It was like summer in January.

Yes, your photo says it all.

My son bought a wet suit, and says he can use it in Winter. Winter here in Auckland. Not winter where you are. You first photo remind sme of Windsor when i look across Detroit.

Bur-r-r! What a great place to walk, look, and photograph regardless of the temperature. I'm pretty much a landlubber so was wondering if the water does change color based on temps?

we are warm in summer, but I still didn't take my shoes off to walk in the sea, I like my toes warm.

I can't imagine how it was like when I was in Canada. My husband says, you were young then,
