Stump reflected in the river south of Omemee, Ontario
Taken a few weeks ago, this photo shows a thin layer of ice on the river. I'm sure the ice there is quite thick now.

It's nice how a stump can be a thing of beauty.
Beautiful, the thin layer of ice is like a mirror.
Fantastic reflections of a wonderful piece of wood!

Fabulous EG!
Simple but beautiful.
So natural and so peaceful, wonderful reflection shot.
Nice one EG. Love the simplicity of the scene. We also have those "bullrushes"? (spikey reeds in the foreground) here in South Australia. Wishing you a great weekend.

A perfect reflection. Hard to imagine a thin coat of ice...but I'll take your word for it. BTW, please keep your weather in Ontario...we're getting hit with what I can only conclude is Canadian air tonight and tomorrow! Dontcha know I gotta play golf? Sheesh!
This is awesome! Love the reflection!
This is a spectacular shot.

It looks like a shipwreck. Very nice.
Guess what I saw yesterday!!! Pussywillows! YES!! We have had such a mild winter so far I am afraid we will have snow in April. Everything is turned upside down. MB
I love the wintery cool blue contrasted by the cattails...Why don't you come enter it in my 'Weekly Top Shot' meme? We're on Week #13 and I'd love to see you share with me and my readers! Here's this weeks' link: http://www.theviewfromrighthere.com/blog/?p=5870
