Snowy creek banks with soft edges and reflections
For us in central Ontario this is NOT likely the last of the snow. But whatever does fall, melts fairly quickly.
Snowy "islands" of snow caught on weeds
Reflections in the creek
I am linking to Watery Wednesday where you can find many more watery photos.

So pretty! Very nice reflections.
You've certainly had a mild winter. We've hardly even had one at all!
we have had a wonderful winter here, four months of no ac/heat just medium cold at wake up and mid 70's daytime. what i would order for every day if i could.
Welcome signs that Spring is on the way!
I really like the colors in these photo's, the white, beige, blue combo is great.

Very pretty reflections and I'm glad it is melting quick- spring is on the way!
Love the reflections in the bottom photo. Spring is not too far away :)
lovely wintry photos in this and your previous post! It looks so cold! Definitely Spring here in Scotland!
Your snowy islands look like lovely soft stepping stones in the creek. Just when I thought it was definitely over we had a brief snowfall yesterday but it's gone now!!
I'm not complaining about the winter we had. But ring on the spring. I'm redy for some color. :)
Grrr... Hate the auto corrector. That is supposed to be bring on the spring. I'm ready for some color. Just so you don't think I'm a total idiot. ;)
So beautiful, and the reflections are awesome!
All your pictures of snow and frost are so impressive for me.. Here, it's already warm, during the day we have wide open windows, and coats down...
I like the soft corners
we're supposed to get a little snow tomorrow
my granddaughter is so disappointed in this winter, she has been waiting to sled
she keeps saying "but I'm old enough now" as if that controls the weather :)
I love the ice beside the water! Just beautiful!
Thanks for the compliment on my twins!
I adore them, even though they are pains-in-the-butt!
Cheers from Cottage Country!
Certainly not the amount of snow Ontario used to get when I was growing up there.
Thanks for the visit and the comments..I appreciate them so much...
Your pictures are awesome...I especially like the reflections....
Beautiful photos in this post and the one below. We have a LOT of snow here right now - a foot added since last Friday night!! Longing for spring. Blessings, Pamela
I am sure this could be really spectacular...

I feel like I have seen no snow yet - maybe tomorrow we get a bit! Lovely shots EG.
i enjoy looking at your snowy landscape.
This spring now is the best kind, 'cause it's usually not too heavy and you know it ain't a-gonna last very long! Lovely photos, EG!
Lovely!
Although I am ready for spring, I really missed having a real winter...just did not see scenes like this this year.

Those ice melting away is food for the spring flowers!
The "islands" look like stepping stones!
We are looking forward to spring. In fact, it feels a little bit like it now here in Virginia.
Lovely pictures - looks cold though!!!
These are beautiful pictures of water and snow.
You impress me as a real hale and hearty outdoor photographer because of the nature photos you have posted during a cold winter day. They're all gorgeous, of course and give us a hint of the environment.
My feet are feeling cold just thinking about that cold water!
Its been in the high 30'c for a while and here tomorrow is the first day of Autumn with our Winter to follow - hopefully without the white stuff lol
Take care

Wonderful captures - thanks for sharing your part of the world. Have a great week.
The wonder of these photos is that these are every day sights, that we don't see unless you stop us and show them to us. Beautiful.
Even though snow is soft, usually we don't see these rounded edges -you have a great eye! Love the reflections in the last one:)
The rounded edges are certainly unusual.
Great photos as always. Is the the time of year for snow machines to get stuck in the slush
very nice photos, mine are along the same theme this week
Snow is just a gift for the photographer, isn't it? Love your "melting" studies, especially the reflections in that cold blue water. You can send some snow south if you want to. :-)
You captured the delicate beauty of winter's warmth in these lovely photos.
Great photos...I feel as though I am there! Thanks for sharing. :)
