This week by the waterways
I suspect this Canada goose has eggs hidden nearby. It was watching me carefully and not going anywhere in a hurry.
Moving clockwise around the mosaic: Wild cherry blossoms; pied-billed grebe; evidence of beavers; two male mallards; a straight-away on the Trent-Severn Waterway.

Excuisite, a beautiful collage you've made here! =)
It's good and wise you tread careffully in the grass.. :)
How pretty. A lovely collection.
love the little grebe and beautiful goose!
You got a lot of great shots! I like the beaver-chewed tree! I have never seen one looking like that in person.
I think you are right about the goose...she has kind of a wild look in her eye!
Wonderful spring collage and the herons in your post after this are fantastic. I enjoy your nature photography very much!
Well, this is just ducky! And woodsy! And very Ontarion. I like.
You were certainly getting the "goose eye" as I call it...It is amazing what beavers can do with those teeth. Holy cow....I love the grebe too. I have only seen one here once.. (I had to fill the feeders again today..it has to be migration fall-out)....Michelle
A beautiful little corner of the world you have there and captured so well.
It really does have its eye on you!
