Amazing shots. I hadn't seen a pussy willow in years until a couple of weeks ago and now I'm seeing one here. I'm thinking of planting one in the back yard.

I had that very disappointment the other day. Couldn't believe I missed them!

We had to be quick to capture the catkins this year too! Lovely photos.

Thank you for sharing at Your Sunday Best. :)

I was looking at some just yesterday, but the light was awful, so I passed on the pictures. But I know where they are!

they are just as beautiful past their prime as they are in their prime. i just came in from the back yard, we had blessed rain yesterday and this morning the flowers have gone berserk. the first bloom this year on the dwarf poinciana, it was a dead stick a week ago and now has 6 new blooms.

Beautiful! Love the texture!

They are pretty even if they've gone to seed...nobody says that I am pretty, but they do say I've gone to seed. That is not very nice.

I must say I am not familiar with these. They are beautiful in their pass their prime stage, I am off to google theses and see what they look like in their prime.

They come and go so quickly like all the early bloomers. That first shot is really quite lovely.
