Algonquin/Reflections

Algonquin Provincial Park - almost as smooth as glass

On a lovely spring day, my husband and I visited Algonquin Provincial Park several weeks ago. And among the treats that we saw were myriad reflections. Here's just a taste of the beauty.

 Like out of a cartoon
Imagine these dead trees and branches reaching like hands to grab you your evil twin.
Magical colours

The blue here reflects the sky above.

OK -- I'll be sure not to fall in that water (I might BE the evil twin!)...really the water is magical and beautiful -- looks like a wonderful Park.

I agree with TexWisGirl - so very peaceful! I might even let myself, er, my evil twin - get grabbed by one of those trees!

that rock in the first shot looks almost like a prehistoric turtle at first glance.

This is so, so beautiful. I totally agree with cieldequimper! (And LOL re: evil twin bit, I too-often imagine branches reaching out when I'm down in the woods :).

Love your imagination. I do not want to get grabbed by anything...especially not by those dead trees and branches. Still, it is a great shot. The second one is so pretty. The reflection of the blue sky in the water is gorgeous. genie
