Green dragonfly
I must confess that my husband saw this dragonfly first. The critter blended so well into it's environment, that I could have easily passed it by without a clue that it was nearby hanging onto twigs in the tall grass.

And surprisingly difficult to get good pictures of! Well done.
nice blend!
Nice blend, but still failed.
Excellent shot. I probably would have passed on by also. MB
Very, very pretty!
I can see why it might have been hard to see. Love it!
A great macro. So much detail.
That's a beauty.
I just love dragonflies. great shot!
Tolle Aufnahme! Ich versuche auch schon länger solch einen zu erwischen, doch bislang ohne Erfolg...

I like the beauty of its frail wings!
And I also like Myra's eyes in yesterday's post!
my hubby is great at pointing things out for me, two sets of eyes are better than one. this photo is absolutely stunning. he looks like he is looking at you, i enlarged it and checked out all the detail, he has cute little eyes and i like all the twigs and lines and colors. can you tell i like it?
Not as camouflaged as to escape your keen lens! :)
God bless you!

This photo is starting to 'bug' me. hahahaha
Looks like a little jewel!
That camouflage didn't fool you! Gorgeous!
amazing capture!
Wow! This is too good.
Great capture. It looks a lot like a common green darner. I shot a few late in August. They really do blend into their environment incredibly well.
Beautiful, nicely composed.
Really marvelous work!! Happy weekend to you!
I never seem to see them sitting anywhere - just buzzing around!
I find they leave about the time I get the camera focused, so I applaud your capture!!
Wow, blending or no, you (two) saw it and captured it beautifully!
Wow, your husband has a good eye! Great photo.
Love the detail on those wings!
Even its body looks like a twig. Good catch.
Awesome capture!
Wonderful capture of the dragonfly...sure amazing that your husband or you even noticed him.
