Hand feeding is a thrilling experience! It’s really worth waiting for patiently. Both the boy and the bird are so cute and I’m also impressed by other people’s fashionable attire.
Didn't those little birds live for eons before people started giving them seed? [You can tell I don't have a birdfeeder and I don't hand feed them, either.]
But Jack! :)) It's OK with me that you don't believe in feeding the birds, but I I do want to say that for many humans this is the only way they have contact with nature. Feeding the birds is not just for the birds, it's also good for the human psyche. Just sayin'. EG CameraGirl
Lovely photos ! I have a few birds that will sit on my hand and eat seed all the others prefer the feeders lol ! I am out almost every day with the birds here as they feed and they are used to me now after three years and some even talk to me. Have a good day !

Great pictures:)
The birds must be quite tame to approach all those outstretched hands.

Oh I found myself waiting too. Great post . B
Lovely photoshoot. It's fun to hand feed chickadees. I bet those kids were excited to have one land on their hands.
Well worth the wait!
Awww … you touched my heart with this one. :)
This looks like fun.
How awesome is that! I love it that he went to the little guy.

And all along I thought it was raindrops.
It was certainly worth the wait. Great shots!
sweet!!!
Fantastic! Will this work for birds in my yard? :)
Both young and old enjoy hand feeding birds especially sweet faced little ones.
So sweet! And well worth the wait:)
Oh, how cute and such a great experience.
That totally blows me away. The chickadees that live at my place are so fast and there's no way they'd land on an outstretched hand.
Magic, EG!
Mes enfants adoreraient faire ca ;o)
Bonne semaine !
And the wait is so worth it when a little bird first lands on the hand.
What a cute post! If I were there I would have my hand out too. Love the shot of the cute boy with the chickadee. He was the lucky one!
Fabulous! What a wonderful experience for the kiddo's!
What a delightful post for the day, EG! I love it! Wonderful captures! Thanks for the smiles on a gray, foggy day!! Have a great week!
Worth waiting for!

I'm curious and curiouser. There's more to this than these images right?

Love how you staged these photos! At first I thought that the hands were waiting for raindrops! And the patient calmness of the little guy is amazing!

love your photo sequence. i've hand-fed a tarsier, a tiger, fish, my dog but not a bird, well, not yet.:p
Oh, that would be so cool to have one of those birds land on your hand and eat from it.
Nice build-up! I thought they were all testing for rain until the last photo :-)
A story well told.
