Fencing and shadow, Pickering
While the entrance into Frenchman's Bay is being deepened for bigger boats, fencing has been erected to keep people from getting too close to the dangerous machinery.
Lake Ontario in the background
I am linking to Friday Fences here.

The fence is really there to protect the locals from the tourist photographers:-)
Very cool. The fencing is almost like a texture that you added.
Might they fall into the water without the fences?
The fences actually make for a great looking photo!
I always like to see the "snowfence" for beaches. Very nice.
fun shots. love beach moments. ( :
I have lovely memories of going to Frenchman's Bay when I was small with my Dad to go fishing. Days have certainly changed.
The chain link fence make a distinct repetitive pattern. I prefer the second photo because of the colors.
Love this fence it is not as interesting when you just look at it walking by but you made it beautiful. B
If that we're in Florida, people would trample the fence and steal the expensive machinery!
both are truly beautiful
Your lake shots always make me miss Lake Michigan...sigh.
Great shots for the theme.
Fences make great shadows as you clearly show.

the beach still looks inviting thru the fence. :)
Nice textures of the fence.
Lake Ontario looks beautiful in your second photo, but I'll bet it is still very cold. I like your first photo very much.
The second shot is great, love the wiew through the fence.
I really like these. I love the blue of the water just beyond the fence.
Love the view of the lake through the fence!
You managed to make a chain link fence look great! :) Nice Friday fences choice.
"Don't fence me in!"
Both shots are beautiful! I'm really drawn to the first one.
The blue waters and sandy beach is simply delightful!
Great photos, love the colours of the second and how the fence enhances both.
Love the photos but feel a bit oppressed!
Wonderful shadows that temp fence makes. Hope the construction is done before summer season begins.
hm, never seen a red one before. Sign for danger?
Great view through the not so likeable fence.
What a little lastic can do! I dread any barrier between me and the sea, though.
Here's to dreaming in orange!
Interesting shots.
that water is such a beautiful shade of blue!
Sounds like a good plan EG, people do tend to be overly curious about going-ons! The diamond pattern makes a super image.
all i can think of when i see a beach is taking off my shoes & feeling the sand tween my toes! LoL! =)
LIke the fence shadows on the first shot!
Love that blue sky in the bottom...I am so ready for a few days of blue skies...and if there are clouds, let it be the big puffy ones floating along on the breeze!
All the designs and textures are wonderful! And looking through the fence at Lake Ontario too, so much fun! Both are beautiful photos!
Beautiful looking beach...fence or not! But I do really like those fencey shadows in that first pic. Cool!
Pretty blue but probably still cold!!!
You made a utilitarian fence look so nice.
