Toronto seen from Humber Bay Park East
I like the juxtaposition here. Toronto is growing taller but parts of Humber Bay Park are staying wild and wonderful. But as you can see, city reflections are encroaching on the park.

and a very beautiful photo! =)
Oh I love the bustling city and wilderness shot. I LOVE the mix. B
Cities are like cornfields except that cornfields can be harvested once every year and then you can begin again.
I love the beautiful buildings on the background and the reflections are wonderful, great shot, it's like a postcard!
Hugs and a nice weekend,
Léia
Great contrast. I hope the wild park area hangs on.

lovely city reflections
Fantastic cityscape, reflection and nature shot all wrapped into one. Oh, and the sky - gracious! You really hit the jackpot with this photo.
i am glad they left the wooded area and parks and trees close to the sky scrapers
Nature and architecture together makes for an interesting photo for sure. Nice job!
Fabulous shot. I forgot to do one today on my blog.
really nice!
Fabulous contrast between the two shores! What an impressive skyline, and beautiful reflections!
Super shot EG!
I can never get enough of water and reflections - beautiful one!
The blues in this shot really do stand out. So appealing to my eye. Lovely processing. genie
Such a big shiny cityscape and the wilds just across the water!
So not used to seeing big city here but thoroughly enjoying the shot!
Beautiful photo and reflection!
I do like the juxtaposition of city and wilderness. Let's hope only the occasional reflection encroaches on that natural bit of park.
'Tis a lovely skyline and I hope someday to see it in person!
A lovely skyline it is indeed and I, too, would love to see it in person! Great capture for the day, EG, as always! Have a beautiful weekend!
Urban life on EG's blog! That is rare. But, she turns out to be as adept with urban images as rural images.
Beautiful skyline
A spectacular panorama of country meets city! Great photo!
Lovely contrast of city and country reflections ^_^
Very pretty!
It looks like a painting EG, beautiful! I remember having a short visit a few years back in Toronto as we were heading home from Watertown NY when our son got out of the Army.
Great reflections of the city.
It is good that you can still see the wildness of nature despite the encroaching city boundaries. A great reflective picture in more ways than one.
It really does look like a painting. I took a lot of shots at Humber Bay West this week.
A new view of Toronto for me. Lovely capture and wonderful subtle reflections.
Love the effect of the glossy skyline with the soft bushes on the foreground.
Love the way this is so different than your usual photos, and yet so much the same.
=)
