Could this guy ever sing! For sure it was hard to believe such a small bird was making all that noise!

our wrens have the loudest song too!
Funny you should be posting about the House Wren,when I have heard him singing outside my bedroom window since about 4 in the morning. I do appreciate his song,but 4am is a little early.
a real cutie and i have noticed the smallest do make the loudest tweets and cheeps and twitters.

I love to hear the birds sing! One favourite is the Song Sparrow.

They do sing loudly. Sometimes I can't hear the birds in our bushes but they put forth a cacophony of sound!

I wonder how many different kinds of birds you have posted so far on this blog. It is amazing to me. If it isn't a robin or duck up north or a heron down south, I don't know what it is.

Kids were learning about home pigeons, and their book said New Zealand was the first country to use the airmail stamp. I am skeptible.

We have two wren families, one chickadee and one robin's nest in our little yard. It is quite fun, and noisy.

Dynamite comes in small packages hey EG, what a wee beauty it is. I went into a pet shop the other day to get some seed for my wild birds, I usually I get it from another source, it upset me so much to see all the small birds in cages, I had to get out of there so quickly. It just seemed so sad.
