Late spring in Ontario
Everything looks so green and fresh this time of year. And lately I've noticed a ton of butterflies, more than in the past few years. Could it be all the rain we've had this year?
Largest square: bee on fleabane (Erigeron pholadelphicus). The fleabane I've seen this year appears to be especially lush.
Moving clockwise:
1. purple-flowering raspberry(Rubus odoratus)
2.White Admiral butterfly
3. Bladder campion (Silene cucubalus)
4. Dames rocket (Hesperis matronalis)
5. Pearl Crescent butterfly

Really beautiful photos and collage CG. I also think nature is beautiful and lush this spring from all the rain. Summer is now just days away and I hope we have less rain for a while.
Simply stunning collage! You have a great talent.
I have never seen a purple flowering raspberry before. They are beautiful!
nice to have soem warmth. We are heading to the shortest day of our winter.
I love your nature collages. I usually see admiral butterflies during the later part of summer for some reason. Odd since other things are so far ahead of you.
Wonderful nature notes! Much to photograph, and yes, the rain = bugs. sigh.
Beautiful array of flowers.
You feed my soul!
Aloha
Stunning shots, especially the butterflies. I remember as a child seeing a lot of butterflies like the Momarch when I lived in Montreal. I hardly see any here on the island.
Lovely photographs.
Beautiful collection of nature photos
thanks
Thank you for your kind visit. You are welcome, dear.

very different looking bee, I have not seen one like that.. i love the butterfly
The best kind of summer collage, celebrating all of nature in her glory!
Beautiful collage! I have seen more butterflies lately, but not nearly as many as when I was a kid. They seemed to be everywhere.
I'm glad you are seeing more butterflies. I see so few these days, and it worries me.
