I'm still trying to figure out how you tell the difference between damselfly and dragonfly!
This is Maybelline. Sheesh, I thought you would know that! But you got a wonderful portrait of her!
I am wondering now if a damsel fly is different than a dragon fly of if they are the same. headed over to ask Mr. Google.. we have ,a brilliant pink one in our yard, very small and he will not sit still for my camera.
i did ask google and this is a damselfly and here is the link if anyone wants to know how to tell the difference

When you look at them up close like this, they kind of look like little aliens. I wonder what we look like to them with those huge eyes that they have.

Excellent! There was dragonfly in my flowers the other morn as we were leaving...and I did not have my camera! I have been watching for it again, and not seen it.
