i remember pulling the stem on honeysuckles as a kid in alabama, getting the sweet bit of nectar !

The bee blows the trumpet on a wrong end.

we have butterflies in our orange trumpet. i had no idea they would grow way up there where you are, but this is just like ours here..
Our Aussie spring wildflowers are a little way off yet ... so it's great to see your FAAAABULOUSLY coloured trumpets!

Because our country home's walls were once inundated with bees, I hate the bee's buzz, but I love to see them busy doing their job on flowers as lovely as these.
Honeysuckle! Brings back such memories of childhood as we use to like to pull out the centers and eat the sweet nectar.
