Window on south side of city building
S is for Shadow Shots
As you can see in the photo above, shadows do not always take the shape of the object casting the shadow. In this case, the folds in the curtains modify the original shapes.
Top of old gate
Here the shadow clearly resembles the original shape.
Old light fixture??
But here the original circles are horizontal and and the shadows vertical.
Another look at shadows created by the top of the window and muntin bars

Beautiful photos!
Greetings, RW & SK
these are fantastic shadow shots. and I really like both window shots since I love old windows. i had no realized how different the shadows can be like you pointed out and would have missed that part of the photos
You shadows are awesome.
Such great examples of things we can see if we stop and look closely. I think the light fixture/shadow is amazing.

Interesting conssept on shadows
interesting photos... beautifully captured...

I love these photos. The last one is my favourite. Do you think the 3 hold metal thing might be for flower pots?
Wonderful shadow shots.
great shots and perfect for AT.
hope you have a great day.
The gate top is the one that caught my attention, EG.
Love that first colorful window.
I wonder if that was an old light fixture...I cannot think of anything else it would have been. Whatever it was, I really like it.
Great shadow shots. Sometimes a shadow can look entirely alien.
Maybe the 'old light fixture' could be a planter. 3 holes=3 pots of pansies. No?

Shadows, what a great theme for the letter S! Love it. Very nice mix of photos.
I know it is only a window but it looks really sad, if a window can look sad .
Shadow shots are fun! :)
Nice subtle shadows.

You are such a photographer! Love the way you caught the shadows!
These shadow shots really show your creativity... I could sit here and stare at these for hours...
My favorite is the one with the old light fixture - the way the 3 circles shift on the wall is super neat!
