Slow-flowing creek
Gloomy skies tend to dominate November over Ontario but when the sun shines, it can be quite lovely.
Ice, snow and elk treated almost as pets
Now too tame to live in the wild, these elk will live out their lives within the confines of this fenced-in area. It's a large field with a bush in the back.
Ice and snow, but creek still flowing
I am Linking to Mosaic Monday HERE.
Please visit Michelle at Rambling Woods for more NATURE NOTES.

I love that slow-flowing creek, and how the ice and snow will soon take over the rest of the flowing water. Very good!
I just felt a winter chill come over me. Brrr!
Love your first image. Beautiful colors, and nice composition.
Beautiful winter scenes and the elk are neat. Sad that they must stayed penned up. Lovely photos!
Nice photo with fine twisted lines and snow.

Your pictures are gorgeous :)
Beautiful early winter scenes.
I love the muted colours at this time of year though they're so difficult to catch with the camera. You seem to have succeeded here though!
burrrrr - looks cold -
And you do have some wonderful pictures!!!
I don't think I've ever seen an elk!
Love these, all of them. Looks like Maine today too.
Slow flowing creek, thank goodness, we get to stare at it that much longer! GORGEOUS!!

Lovely photos...so sad that the elk ( and much of our wildlife all over ) are losing their habitat
Beautifully shot! Love the collage!
I wonder how the elk came to be in protected living conditions? Maybe they fill in as reindeer somewhere this month. ;-)
Beautiful shots, particularly the elk.
Beautiful mosaic.
I love your first photo with the slow flowing creek and the dry grass bending in the breeze - quite magical.

The creek looks very pretty with the shine of water surrounded by the flash of white. I like your collage too, it works well.
I love your photos and most especially the neat effect in the mosaic. What amazing sights you see where you live! Happy December!
The first shot of that creek is just beautiful.

Love your photos and have a feeling like I really want to paint your slow-flowing creek photo. Just spectacular! Who gets into a pen with elk? Holy smokes, I'd be terrified; come to think of it I WAS once when I came face to face with one in Banff. Those guys are huge! A little sad but also lovely to have them in a pen though to photograph when ever. :) Hope you have a most wonderful week ahead EG girl and big hugs to you.
Looks a lot like winter! Nice shots.

Have a happy December with good photo opportunities!
