Barnacles
Some of us would enjoy being on a warm, sunny beach, right? The next best thing, I guess, is to imagine that that's where we are. To help you, I'm showing you samples of my sister-in-law's shell collection.

Remarkable textures!
My mother had a coral very similar to that second one.
Wonderful shells. So dekorative and
full of structure.
Nice weekend to you.

Would it be awful if I told you I was on a warm, sunny beach yesterday?
Okay. Never mind.
;)
Też zbieram muszle, ale takich pieknych okazów nie mam. Pozdrawiam.
Also collect shells, but these do not have the beautiful specimens. Yours.
Those are some interesting specimens!
The blue coral is so pretty!
These are quite lovely and a nice collection.
Trouble is the blue coral only reminds me of blue ice. Brr!
Since I am spending a little at the beach right now, I can really appreciate these shells....She certainly has a beautiful collection....
So I'm not the only one! :-) Shells and pebbles for me, though I don't have any blue coral. It's beautiful!
She has some real beauties!
I would love to be on the beach at the moment, sick to death of this rotten weather we are having.
These are so neat! I couldn't figure out what they were till I read. (first two) Even then, I thought them beautiful.

What a good idea, EG!
These are all so pretty and unusual. Although I have seen lots of barnacles before. I'm ready to escape but won't be. Well, does Calgary count? :-)
Your close-ups of the shells are great, and thank you for that feeling of warmth :)
I like the white coral.
Such pretty textures and shots.
Very unique pieces.
The first one looks like a bee hive from sea.
We always pick up a shell from whichever beach we visit, your sister in law has quite a collection!
Incredible textures up close. Love these shots!

These are beautiful! Bring on the warmth and sunshine.
What a great idea on a wonderfully blizzard filled day. I'm going to go look for more shells and flowers and green grass.
Gorgeous! I love the shapes and the textures in those.
Beautiful! I love shells of any kind, the more textured the better! I live close to the beach here, but it's anything but warm right now... xoxo Silke
