Shells

 Barnacles

Some of us would enjoy being on a warm, sunny beach, right?  The next best thing, I guess, is to imagine that that's where we are. To help you, I'm showing you samples of my sister-in-law's shell collection.

Remarkable textures!

My mother had a coral very similar to that second one.

Would it be awful if I told you I was on a warm, sunny beach yesterday?

Okay. Never mind.

Też zbieram muszle, ale takich pieknych okazów nie mam. Pozdrawiam.

Also collect shells, but these do not have the beautiful specimens. Yours.

So I'm not the only one! :-) Shells and pebbles for me, though I don't have any blue coral. It's beautiful!

I would love to be on the beach at the moment, sick to death of this rotten weather we are having.

These are all so pretty and unusual. Although I have seen lots of barnacles before. I'm ready to escape but won't be. Well, does Calgary count? :-)

Very unique pieces.
The first one looks like a bee hive from sea.

What a great idea on a wonderfully blizzard filled day. I'm going to go look for more shells and flowers and green grass.
