A pleasing sight with not much disturbance in the sky.
I'm not familiar with that area, so I especially enjoy these photos. We just got a new Burlington Coat Factory store here, but I'm not sure that has anything to do with your Burlington.
Love that ice floating in the water. Don't think I'll take a dip today, though.

Great light in these photos. I'm impressed to see liquid water! With our recent temps around zero we haven't seen anything but ice and snow.
It looks like you had a lovely day to be outdoors. The islands of ice patches make the surface of the water look quite interesting. And so, the melting begins.

I am surprised not to see more compete ice out there.
Those chunks of ice are impressive. I am surprised at the open water. We're totally frozen here.
I remember the canal in Ottawa and we would skate on it every year, then rain would close it down. I looked at the ice in the pictures and it reminded me of the first thaw.
Hooray for sunny skies! A welcome sight after all the storms you've had.
Beautiful views across the water. The ice breaking up is a good sign that spring is on her way.
They rhythm of the seasons is so much more pronounced in Ontario than it is here. The ice break-up was always a signal that spring wasn't far behind. I like that sort of marking of time.
