This must be the main bridge that was in use before the Skyway bridge was built. When it went up the traffic line up stretched for miles.

Gorgeous. Still looks cold, though, with that ice floating on the water and the snow, of course!
The colours don't 'pop' as much as the other day but it's still impressive!

Those blue skies add the perfect touch to most any picture.
Burlington is about 12 miles up the road---well a different town I do suppose. LOL

The vivid blue sky could easy be shot on the clear summer days we are having in the Southern Hemisphere - if it wasn't for the ice, snow and bare trees in the background!

I am always fascinated by bridges (I don't know why). I sometimes wonder whether I would have liked to have been a civil engineer.
