Brown, white, icicles and snow
This winter has been a season for icicles. I'm sure they are thicker and longer than they have been in a few years. They are more like what I remember from my childhood.
Largest square: icicle on our local farm seed store. Moving clockwise: a snowy field under a blue sky; a horde of crows (this is just a tiny square of what was actually there); more icicles; crows in amongst corn stubble; and wild turkeys scratching for seeds.
I am Linking to Mosaic Monday HERE

I don't think I've every seen anything other than nearly crystal clear icicles. Did they pick up some paint while forming or maybe sediment from the roof?
This is fun! I haven't seen real snow in a few years and icicles are a distant memory and you've proven it is true that turkeys are dumb 'cause they don't know enough to come in from the cold! :)
They have hugh icicles in Sharon, had to stop myself to take their picture. Have a great week and see you Tuesday.
Wonderful captures! Its damn cold there! Same here in Chicago. I took a pic similar to that icicles today :)
Wonderful winter photos. Icicles are beautiful but very dangerous to fall to the ground.
Greetings
A lovely mosaic, the icicles are pretty. And the snowy field is beautiful. I am still hoping the weather will warm up and our icicles melt. Enjoy your week ahead!
Those icicles are looking like weapons - time for a thaw!
cool icicles.. LOL and i love the Christmas treein the first block
Those icicles can be dangerous!
That looks cold, great photos.
My goodness, you do have a winter wonderland there! I love it. We had some wonderful icicles a couple of years ago in England, but Vancouver is never (well, extremely rarely) cold enough. Are those wild turkeys? So fantastic. Sometimes I wish I lived in the east. :)
Those are some huge icicles!
Don't want to stand under those icicles!
it certainly been one of the coldest winters I ever remember. I am getting to the point I will be glad to see it go.
You show winter's beauty!

I agree this has been a great winter for icicles. Looks a lot like our winter here.
Love the icicle shots.
Gorgeous collage!
Love your icicle photos.
Mid-February looks like a dream to me. It was so mild here yesterday, 11°C I think...
A very beautiful mosaic which gives me a picture into your world right now - a great photo journal for you to look back on in years to come...
that was the year of the big snow!!
Brrrr, the icicles make me shiver, very chilly looking!
Weather so cold it makes the rain freeze.. I can't imagine it EG :)
Look at those icicles. Same here, they remind me of my childhood. We liked snapping them down and playing with them. Not sure what we were playing! Have a good week!
Amazing icicles. I've never lived in really cold country so have rarely seen them in person

Those icicles look dangerous. :/ Hope you warm up soon!
It looks like you are having the same winter as us here. Beautiful shots!
I've only seen a "horde" of crows once. Loved the icicle shot.
Looks like here...and got to say I would love to see a bigger view of the one above the turkeys...I love it.
We had a cold snap here last week - it lasted for three days - and in that time we saw icicles like we hadn't seen for years. The fountain in front of the legislature turned into a big icicle!
Wonderful mosaic and oh I know those icicles, very well. I think that you are right too, longer than normal and certainly lasting longer~
Those icicles are very photogenic. They do remind me, too, of my childhood. I think that we don't get icicles so often anymore because of the eavestrough on the houses.
Yes it has been and we have been knocking down the ones that pose a hazard..Lovely mosaic...Michelle
These are all great shots. My favorite is the long icicles.
The icicles I find in the parks are so pretty... but the ones hanging from my roof are a tad scary at times!
