Birds out & about in early February
True there are no flowers in my Ontario gardens right now but, I have bird feeders so there are tons of birds.
Largest square: female Northern Cardinal.
Moving clockwise: White-breasted Nuthatch, Mourning Dove, male Northern Cardinal, Tree Sparrow, and Dark-eyed junco
I am Linking to Mosaic Monday HERE.

a beautiful array. :)
Lovely see the birds of winter. Especially enjoy your cardinal photos.
Beautiful photos of the birds
Greetings
A very beautiful assortment of birds.
that momma cardinal is beautiful, she is even outshining the male in this shot
I love cardinals. Nice shots.
A lovely group, EG!
So pretty! I miss North American birds. All you get around here are crows and pigeons. :(
That's wonderful. We probably should put out a bird feeder but when we've tried the squirrels have defeated all attempts to provide sustenance for the avians.
We do have cardinals in the bushes around the house, though. The cats watch them very carefully through the windows. Wonder what they're thinking?
You do see a nice variety there. They are colorful too, a pretty replacement for the flowers to come later. Beautiful mosaic! Have a happy week!
very nice and in some ways better than flowers.
Nice series, highlighting that winter isn't bland at all. It is full of life and colours.
Nice collage of sweet birds. I am so glad we have a lot of feeders around. We have lots of different birds here too. MB
Gorgeous pictures, as usual! Your female cardinal is so much prettier than the ones I have seen in Virginia.
These pretty birds make a great mosaic. I guess they are winter's blooms. :)
How pretty!
Awesome visitors. It has been very quite here, not much happening. Enjoy the week:)
Nice variety of birds. And I love how you've displayed your photos.
We have the same birds here in Virginia. Guess they are fairly adaptable.
I always love seeing those bright, red Cardinals.
The female cardinal looks quite lovely from this set.
Nice shots- I really love the cardinals.
I'm a particular fan of cardinals. We see them occasionally down here, but more often see them up north.
Aw, they look so sweet! The colors show up so brilliantly against the winterscape (I laughed out loud at your comment re: seeing smiles/frowns in my chapel ceiling shot:)
Beautiful shots of your winter birds. We have all of these at our feeders this winter and they sure have been a hungry bunch!
nice birds...
thanks
The male cardinal is amazing seen against the snow. Around here garden centres seem to sell more bird seed than seeds for planting.
Just fabulous !
what a coincidence! I'm doing a winter birds post today. I've had enough of funerals, sickness. cheery photos!
(ツ) from Cottage Country Ontario , ON, Canada!
Beautiful photo collage of lovely birds. You are really kind to provide feed for the poor critters !
You have such colorful birds it almost makes up for having no flowers.
Darla
These are beautiful winter birds! Fantastic shots!
A very nice collage...aren't the female cardinals so beautiful? Of course I love the males, but when you look at the female, they are just as beautiful.
Great shots of the beautiful birds.
Lovely shots. Every so often I will have 2 cardinal pairs visiting my yard.
Your feathered friends are beautiful!
I am noticing that a few birds are beginning to return here. Spring can't be too far behind! :-)
I don't know why but I have no juncos nor nuthatches here ( and you'd think with the amount of food that I put out some would come to visit! :)
Lovely photos / If I can't have some of these birds visit ME I'll enjoy them visiting YOU :)
What a colourful array of birds you have found! Your so brave venturing out in the weather here.
Beauties!
Such lovely winter friends:-)
While we are already in transition from less hot to more hot to our dry season, you are still deep in your snow. Oh how i pity the birds! They really look cold, if only they can come here this time! haha
Wonderful selection of some of my favorite birds Tina.. Happy Valentine's Day....Michelle
I love the cardinal. I haven't seen one of those in a long time.
Beautiful! I haven't had the variety of birds I usually do this winter. I'm glad you're sharing yours.
