These are fun captures! Very distinguished looking ducks, male and female.
They look like quite the gang, don't they?
He's certainly 'in with the in crowd'...aren't these guys (and gals) distinguished looking, and what a fun series of captures!
he looks like he is give the yellow stinky eye to the female with the mussels and the party is to funny....
Great photos of lovely ducks
Greetings
Great photos! It's fun to see them all scrambling for the same mussels.
So cute...amazing pictures, even better captions...I love this!
Who says muscles don't attract ?!
These are wonderful action shots !
Love is in the air, and let the good times roll!
Just ducky! Each of this stands alone in coolness! Interesting how ducks can exhibit something of a personality. It's also interesting that if others think you have money, you are surrounded by "friends" and "relatives."
Great Duck Photos! :)
So they're attracted to each other's mussels!!! :)
Great shots!
Lovely coloring on both.
A TAILGATE PARTY? :)
Scaup seems such an appropriate name somehow, I love their mussels, yum yum:)
Glad to see them eating the zebra mussels!
Love the ducks shots, and the cute captions.. Great shots! Have a happy week ahead!
Great pictures and food would seem to be plentiful. I love the blue beak mating season colors of the male. I have only seen it once in real life ... very impressive.

It is so sad that zebra mussels are up there. They are nasty, invasive things.
Great photos of the group.
At least someone is benefitting from the Zebra Mussels. I hope they eat them all.
Cute post. I love the "He's got zebra mussels and five best friends." made me chuckle.
I love that! They are too funny!
Looks like a wild bunch.
Love the 'sixsome' :-) (and mussles!!)
Great shots, we do get the odd one or two in the UK ,but I haven't seen one as yet.
All the best Gordon.
Fun shots! Seems the duck with the mussels has a lot of friends. :)
We have the lesser scaups and they look just like these. I wonder what the difference is? Anyway, fun shots. Nice that you got both the male and female with mussels.
Excellent series of photos. Think that last one is going to have trouble holding onto its meal!
Those mussels seem to be very popular. Nice series.
Wow these are all wonderful!
The zebra mussels have made their way down to our two lakes (Bull Shoals and Lake Norfork). I'm glad the ducks eat them, because I've heard they become very destructive and even sink boats over time.
