Snowdrops!
I realize that many of you have already this year had snowdrops bloom in your gardens, but these are the first ones I have seen in East Gwillimbury in 2014 - not in my garden but in some friends' garden. Yep, they pushed their way up through the ice and snow. And this IS what they looked like this afternoon on the last day of March. It looks like spring is finally arriving here!

The joke around my area is that spring is broke. It snowed furiously here yesterday.

I've never seen these flowers, but they are beautiful and I'm happy for you that they made an appearance!

i have only seen these in photos.. beautiful and the one on the right looks like it is waving a little hand to say welcome spring.

How pretty these are, and surely a welcome sign of spring. Ours are just about at this point too. Now hopefully the snow will stay away so that they can actually bloom!

I really amore the persistence of these beautiful plants. A little snow and ice isn't going to keep them from announcing their presence.
