Update March 28

Red-bellied woodpecker

This photo is from the beginning of March as I haven't been out taking photos for a while.  My husband's health is a lot, LOT better now so I plan to get out with my camera a bit. And I hope to be posting a couple of times a week from now on. (If I can get my act together.)

Meanwhile, my goal is to get around to see what you have been doing for the past couple of weeks.

I hope you all have a great weekend!

What a beautiful photo of the woodpecker stowing away his peanut. Great catch and I loved the squirrel photo. In fact I see there are a few more I need to catch up on. Glad your husband's health is better and have a great weekend.

An excellent capture!

Entirely understandable given the circumstances that you'll be cutting back here and there on time. As you say, he's getting better.

Good news for your hubby! Now for that peanut, it looks a bit big, but when there's a will there's a way! Great picture.

Fantastic capture! But why do you call this thing a "Red-bellied woodpecker" when it's obvious his head is red and not his belly?

It's just another of life's conundrums!

So glad to hear that things have taken a turn for the better! Best wishes for a full and complete recovery!
