Fence around balcony, Newmarket
I spotted this fence on a street close to the centre of town. It would be a great place to stand and wave at you adoring crowds, dontcha think?

This is certainly one place that fence is needed.
I can't imagine actually using that balcony for anything..it does add a unique feature to an otherwise bland looking front. It would be a perfect spot to watch a parade!

Pretty!!! I have it pictured in my mind now a royal family outside on the balcony waving to their 'subjects'.
it makes for a decorative fascade and no doubt the occupants might like to open that door and get some good fresh air inside too

That is a lovely balcony, I could do the royal wave from there and pretend I was a princess, or more like the dowager duchess, lol :)
