East Gwillimbury farm pond
This image was taken yesterday (Saturday). No snow. No ice. And no green grass yet, either. But birds are singing and making nests and, to me, this pond looks like spring.

The water looks so clean and the sunshine looks warm and inviting, so even though the grass is still brown, it's a great day for a walk.
The green grass is lurking just below the surface I think. Actually, it looks like it's beginning to go green to me. It's about time, isn't it!
