Exploring Central Ontario (CANADA)...and beyond
Pure "gingerbread" is my guess. It's attractive, but I'm sure glad I don't have to maintain it. :-)
It's very well designed, even for pigeons too... health and safety wise!
Pretty darn fancy.
Yes I believe it to keep those falling pigeons safe:) Great shots. Hug B
Just to keep things in harmony! Would make a pretty doll house!:o)
now that house has some character. so lovely. i might change up the colors but all-around neat house. ( :
That is a beautiful house! I like the pigeon idea. lol
Maybe the decorative fencing is for decoration! Beautiful house.
Neat house! To guard against Tom Cruise of course. The demented couch hopper is too short to get over those.
To guard the beautiful young daughter against the young boy:-) Love the pretty house and the unique fence we won't be able to see in Japan♪♪♪Sending you Lots of Love and Hugs from Japan, xoxo Miyako*
the house is wonderful... i am thinking back in the day, they wanted to use the popular ironwork and that ws the only place to add it..
I don't know what it's for, but it does look nice.
it makes for beautiful trimwork. :) thanks (in advance) for linking in!
Just some frippery, but pretty it is.Darla
Just so people can be inquisitive--haha. Pretty and old timey though. MB
This is my kind of style! Great link up too!
Those old houses are just so artfully built, it's all about the look for them. Love it!
It may not serve any purpose, but the fencing is pretty.
It reminds me of a doll house for some reason. It's a grand old place.
I guess it's just there for decoration. It does look like an area where birds could gather and have a party. :)
It's a grand house, EG!
I love the old houses like this. They have so much more character than new homes.
To guard against... normalcy ?! ...boredom ?! ... the ordinary ?!
I vote for the pigeon deterrent.
Really beautiful architecture!
"To" decorate it and show off their wealth.
That's a darling house with so many great details! Thanks for stopping by.
Miyako was thinking what I was thinking. To guard the teen-aged daughter with the Juliet balcony from the Romeos.
Wow, wow, WOW!!!
it is all for pretty!!! I love the gingerbread, too!
House 'candy' !!! And it's a beautiful house.
It's a unique house+fence, for sure. Saw from TexWisGirl that you are Canadian, so I thought I would click.
Quite different... wouldn't mind seeing inside :D)
Love the fence at the top, love the house even more!
Very decorative elements on a lovely house. Pretty!
That is a cool looking house. I do like the decorative fencing. Gives the place "character."
What a great old house! I love all the wood trim on it and the wrought iron fences. I guess they're just decorative.
The wrought iron trim is beautiful, even if it is only decorative.
Very ornate!
Whatever it's for it is just beautiful! Painting it after the weather has done it's damage wouldn't be very much fun though!
what a beautiful place. i like the idea of the fence saving the falling pigeons, :) hope all is well. have a great day~
Such a beautiful house! Would love to see the inside, too.Visiting from Good Fences,~Lindy
