East Gwillimbury countryside
This time of year the grass and trees are such beautiful shades of green, the fields newly plowed and planted. Driving over the crest of a hill yesterday, I just had to stop and take a photo of this red-roofed barn surrounded by greens and browns.
Zoomed in on the red roof and new green leaves and grass

Lovely colours - you can't go far wrong with red and green; complimentary colours if I remember the theory aright.
Enjoy the tender green before it turns to summer green!
I hear the Summer sounds!

That's a very colourful addition to the countryside!
Certainly stands out against that landscape.
That is a beautiful barn.
I would have stopped too. Beautiful colors!
You live in a nice, scenic area with those rolling hills.
Red and green are complimentary colours, especially in the spring sunshine. Nice photo!
It is an ideal spot to photograph.
Beautiful barn and the countryside looks so peaceful.
Beautiful barn, the roof makes a statement in the landscape doesn't it?
You do live in a beautiful area with that rolling countryside and lovely farms. Red-headed woodpeckers and red-roofed barns. Hard to beat that!
It is a lovely view.
i love all that contrasting greenery at the bottom of the red roof.

Beautiful and scenic.
Beautiful and scenic.
I love spring greens! Terrific views.
These are neat. I came across some really blindingly red roofed barns on the road trip. I think I have pictures to show, somewhere, someday.
A wonderful barn, and such a beautiful setting!
The contrast is very strong and beautiful !
Wonderful shot, EG!
Lovely scenery and barn :)
Beautiful Scenery. Love that you were high up to take the photos of that bright red roof.
Nice shed. It really makes for interesting photographs. Thanks for sharing.
And summer is upon us! The yellow bird (red baron crop duster) was out this morning, zooming over my house. Our fields are still pretty wet though- these look just right!
This makes me feel like I'm back in the farm land where I was born (Tennessee). It's a beautiful shot!
Awesome shot of the 2nd image. The red roofed barn really pops against all that green and brown. Wonderful!
Beautiful photos, a sunny summer rural area.
Love the red barns!
Just delightful. That splash of colour amongst the scenery always gets my attention too. Great photos :D)
I love the way the red roof barn looks in the farm-scape.
I think I would love your part of the world from all the photos you show....I would just love to see this in person.
