Yellow Warbler (Setophaga petechia)
Yellow warblers never stay anywhere for very long so I was lucky to capture this one with my lens.
Gray Catbird (Dumetella carolinensis)
Catbirds, in my experience, tend to be shy so was pretty happy when this one sat on a limb for a few minutes.
Eastern Phoebe (Sayornis phoebe)
This phoebe is living up to her name as a flycatcher. I am connecting to Stewart M's Wild Bird Wednesday HERE

Pretty threesome..I love the Yellow Warbler! The Phoebe is cute! Great shots.. Have a happy day!
I love all three but, never having seen a catbird, I was especially enthralled by her!
I think you did well to capture any of them as they are all three rather busy birds.
Ooooo the bird with the insect is a really nice catch.
A triple treat!!
Wonderful series. You caught the phoebe at the perfect moment.
we have not seen our catbird but we hear it sometimes. the hawks keep the birds away from here. there are 6 hawks living in Bray park that have decimated our squirrel and bird population.. i love the phoebe shot...
I saw several yellow birds in a big tree yesterday, so I am assuming they were yellow warblers.
There is just something about yellow birds that makes me smile!
That catbird in particular looks quite striking!
The best bird shots ever! Your pics just get better and better.

What wonderful shots! :)
sweet bug-eaters! we keep phoebes here year round. i've been lucky to have a yellow warbler a few times. but never a catbird! jealousy rears its ugly head... :)
All three of these are fabulous!
Wow, this Phoebe shot is very impressive!! It is perfect and perfectly beautiful. You are right about the catbirds. Here they meow while hidden. So we hear them but cannot see them.
Nice shots! Most birds are pretty skittish when confronted with a human and a camera. Good job in capturing these.
Stunning captures and wow, what a yummy and good for the tummy treat for the last birdy!
Love the phoebe image. Need to this sketch on paper.
Excellent bird shots! I love the detail in the third one... looks like he/she found a tasty lunch!
Really like the bug in the beak photo.
You got some great images!!! I have always wondered what a phoebe looks like...
Pretty trio of birds!
That phoebe is a great shot...crystal clear!!!!...:)JP

Three fine photos all of which are for the birds! But that 3rd shot is magnifique!
Oh yummy, protein! :-)
Fantastic, all three of them (but cat and bird in one word? :-))
Love that last photo! So sharp and you captured such great detail.
You certainly have a knack for bird photography, EG! And catching the Phoebe with a bug in its mouth!!
I love these photos EG, sweet birds!
Wonderful to see all three of these birds up close. The Phoebe is especially fine. Great shots!
Beautiful birds all of them. I love the last shot.
Like you my experiences with all three of these birds has been fleeting. I have seen one yellow warbler, a cat bird maybe four times and the phoebe, twice. We actually have a phoebe pair living by our lake ... I hear them talking to each other each morning, but never see them, no matter how hard I try. So you are lucky in my book. Great shots of all three.

Your familiarity with the birds is almost as charming as you great photos. You built, till the last great climax! Thanks

Awesome image of the Phoebe with a fly. Wow. The catbird is definitely a great catch as well...they are indeed shy. Congrats on some wonderful shots.
Beautiful birds, like the yellow wabler.
These are gorgeous shots! I did my dissertation on birds so I have a very soft spot for them now. I love the Catbird shot. - Tasha xxx
Wondeful three birds; I was fascinated by the good capture of Eastern Phoebe having a butterfly :-)
Sending you Lots of Love and Hugs to my Dear friend in America, xoxo Miyako*
The photographs you make of your feathered friends, are always so beautiful.
Warblers are so hard!!!! I wish they'd stay still for the camera to focus. Really great photos of all the birds including the wahbler:) I love how the Mainiacs say their name:) Hope you're having a fun week. Happy birding!
All three are beautiful, but the phoebe is stunning!!
Nice catch with the bug in beak!
HI All three shots are fantastic bit no 1 is my favorite. Stunning composition etc.
You captured them soooo wonderfully!
A trio of wonderful birds, and photos!

Serendipitous captures - lovely shots. I like the Easter Phoebe with the fly in its beak.
The Pheobe is a great shot!
The Terns are much closer to you than I am, they were taken in the UK. They will be with us in our summer, your winter.

J'adore all three EG.. Beautifully captured.
Super shots of birds I have never seen. Well except for the Warbler. Here one day gone tomorrow. MB
Really wonderful photos! I learn so much by joining in with Stewart and with Anni on their two memes...seeing photos of so many different birds I would never get to see. Your photos are great!
So crisp and clear, I can count the feathers. Love the last one dining.
That last one has such a cute face! (Can a bird even have a cute face?)
;)
Such beautiful captures...I would consider myself lucky to get any one of these, let alone all three.
