End of Harvest

Empty basket in field

A few pumpkins were never harvested off this field. The must have been too small. But I don't know why the old basket was left as it still appears to be useful.

Wagon wheel

And a few gourds have fallen off the wagon.

Perhaps it was left there just to make us wonder? Both shots are beautiful still lifes.

Ha! Some would say I've lost my "gourd" as well. :-)

Lovely vibrant shots. The pumpkins go so well with that purple wheel.

Beautiful shots. I always wonder what happens to the leftover pumpkins.

I think they left the basket for you to make your art! Both pictures could be framed or made into seasonal notecards. They are great!

Is that basket a bushel?

I know what you're thinking for gourdness sakes Daniel, your wagon is short a wheel. ;-)

I like that old basket. I'm sure some crafty person could do something wonderful with it.

Hi Tina,
May be the basket makes a bird bath or provide some protection for little ones out there?

I love the contrast between the pumpkins and the other objects pictured.

Very nicely done!

Have a Beautiful Day.

Peace :)

Lovely images!! I have not seen a bushel basket in many years, even if this one does not have those horrible wire handles...
