Sitting in the sunshine
I'm not sure if this is old enough to be an antique or not, but it looks old to me. Old farm machinery is commonly used as "lawn ornaments" in rural areas.
Processed with a bit of sepia
I think it looks a tad older in sepia, don't you?
In celebration of the old and wonderful "stuff", I am connecting to Rubbish Tuesday HERE.

It is certainly VERY rusty looking, the sepia shot is definitely more sympathetic!
It does look older EG but the rust looks much more appealing in the first.
Good Morning, EG! The Sepia is a great shot.. Have a happy Monday!
Old enough. I think it's been a while since farmers opted for the "bucket seat". :-)
Really big lawn ornaments! They are also a reminder of past history.
Yep, old tractors, ploughs, milk separators and hay rakes are common 'yard ornaments' around here too. This is a great old tractor.
It looks like a VERY old tractor! Great shots.
The tractor certainly has a kind of magic and I am sure a colourful past - both takes are good - looks a bit sad in the sepia - Jane UK X
The construction of the wheels fascinates me.

i always wonder how these work? many will they do a great job like tractors of this day and age? i enjoy their true differences. their unique-nesses. ( :
ooooh I like this old tractor, nice and rusty looking. Unfortunately no room on my front yard for such an ornament.... but I'd love to have it!!!
It is old enough to qualify as a photographer's dream subject. The more rust the better :-)
It certainly is quite eye catching!
I think it is most definitely antique and also beautiful. i love rust and sunshine and anything old
All this old tractor needs is a large potted plant on the seat. I like old machinery and sometimes see it used creatively as planters.
It looks old to me in both versions.
Sepia is a great look for it!
Wow...This is a great old tractor...
Fantastic shot...
I love this old tractor, I like all old rusty things.
Lovely old tractor! Great shots!
I love it in the sepia. That's a pretty old tractor.
sweet, sweet, SWEET old rusty thing! a treasure!
Oh yes! That's an oldie!
What a great find! Nice shots.
I really like the sepia version, but I think this tractor qualifies as an antique in any case.
Oh I think it falls into the category of antique. And I wouldn't want that wheel to roll over my foot. Ouch!
What a sweet old tractor!
Wow, I have not seen one like this! It looks wooden!! Or maybe that is rust. Great to compare both pictures. But looking at details, I think the color one shows them better. Around here there is a lot of old farm equipment used as yard art, too. I rarely know what they are, but Phil does. In fact, I have a whole picture folder of them. But nothing like THIS!! Outstanding.
Yes, the sepia does make it look older!! It sure is an old one, with those all metal wheels!
What a terrific old tractor and such a great capture for the day!! You do find the good stuff in your world to share, EG!! Thank you!! Have a lovely new week!!
I think it looks older, too!
I would love an old tractor, but I'd paint it primary colours!
(ツ) from Cottage Country Ontario , East!
What a gorgeous find!
Truly a work of art, hard worker it is, or rather was in its day!
I would say it is an antique ! Looks so romantic !
They say that something needs to be 50 years old to be an antique! The tractor and I fit the bill. Tom The Backroads Traveller
Super shots. I like old machinery. Both shots look equally old to me. MB
It has to be an antique because I remember this type of tractor in my youth and I'm an antique for sure. I think it's age shows better in the first shot. :)
I like the warmth of the first shot, EG! Definitely an antique.
Wow:-)))))))
It looks just perfect in sepia though I like that yellow rust!
I agree with you on the sepia version. Very nice either way, but I'm drawn to that one more. Nice set!
The sepia effect is perfect for this old tractor! Nice work.
It looks ANCIENT! :)
That is certainly a striking lawn ornament. I like the sepia treatment also.
Wonderful pictures
The sepia does look older, but the other way is really neat too.
It's a nice decor.
Worth a Thousand Words
Nice sepia shot.
sepia always makes things look older. We have an old engine that has a new coat of paint.
That is a beauty! And I love the first photo best - in that old orange.
don't you just love old farm machinery? I think the sepia is a great touch.
Happy travels and have a wonderful week. I am joining you at Our World Tuesday.
That tractor is a beauty, EG. I like both photos.
It certainly looks old and rusty! I love both of them.
Tina - Lovely tractor.
I want to say it is an antique - no LCD displays :)
Have a Beautiful Day!
Peace :)
Great old tractor! Wonderful pictures!
It certainly qualifies as something old!
Fantastic find and shot I like the sun and rust on the first one. There is no life in the Sepia one for me.
I really like the first photo best
reminds me of some I have seen here
It's a wonderful subject for photographer and I wouldn't mind betting you're not the first. Great lighting for your picture.
Oh yeah- that's old! I don't know what model, though. I can vouch for the "lawn ornaments" statement..I see them in people's yards all the time. The other day I saw a super old hay baler..I wanted to get out and take a photo, but it was right in front of a house, and I hate to make people think I am stalking them. I think I will just drive up and ask if I can take a picture next time.
This is great and definitely old enough to be an antique!! Great shots
Oh, I really like this.
I like the rust! I can see it on the Great Divide in a Willa Cather novel.
It has seen better days and served someone well.
such a cool, old tractor....I am drawn to this old farm equipment!!!!
Great old tractor!~ I really like the second shot!
I love looking at old machines in the countryside too....and have been photographing them recently. Your images are beautiful - especially the processed one.
Very nice processing on both images. I would agree with you that the sepia does make it appear a bit older than the first image.
We see these 'lawn ornaments' around here, too. :)
Thanks for stopping by to comment on my RT post.
