Growing up we lived in the mountains and SOP every night was to throw the cats outside even in the winter. Never gave it a second thought. They were always waiting by the door in the morning. I'd never think of doing such a thing now.
Looks as though he/she has found the perfect place to enjoy the warm sun! Hope he/she also has someone to have food for them! Delightful capture as always!!! Have a beautiful weekend!!
Poor thing, she must be hungry. I wonder if she knew the people who lived there. And I wonder what her story is. Maybe she is a farm cat just hanging out.
The cat looks in too good a shape to be feral, so even if this isn't home, odds are this place is just somewhere on his or her daily rounds while out for a stroll before going home for treats.
East Gwillimbury is a rural town less than an hour north of Toronto, Canada's largest city.
My family calls me CameraGirl because I take my camera with me wherever I go.

Hope Puss was right and is let in! What amazing gold eyes he/she has, and you can see the indomitable spirit in this capture. =)
Or the best spot for sunbathing
Yes I think Mo is right. She has found the perfect sunny spot. Have a wonderful weekend.
Are black cats still bad luck¿
Cute kitty, maybe someone is living there.. Great shot! Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Have a happy weekend!
I do hope there is someone home there to let this handsome black pussy cat in EG.

What a pretty cat. The little white patch reminds me of a black cat we had.
I wish we could attach notes to them, "Please call and let me know you are caring for this catl." Especially to see them outside during winter.

He probably knows better... or not?
Beautiful shot and love those eyes. I too hope that kitty has a warm place in front of a fire to call home!
He/she doesn't look like some strays, but perhaps it is so...
He likes a warm spot in the sunshine!
She looks like someone is taking care of her! Pretty kitty.
Maybe she is just exploring, EG! Like you were. ;-))

Ahh...Sinbad approves...purrrr >^..^<
Beautiful kitty!
What a gorgeous cat. I hope someone takes care of it.
That makes me wonder if there is someone staying in that building! Spooky!
What a beautiful black cat. The sun must feel good.
I think she picked the wrong place to look for a handout.
I see scuffs on the door...perhaps someone does live there. Wishful thinking for the cat's sake?

we had a black cat like her called Moggs when growing up.
What a sweet face. The shadows and that touch of textured wood in rust and green make for a purrfect photo.
Boy, that's a "let me in" look if I've ever seen one! :)
Looks like a cat hunting for warmth!

Cute kitty knows what's up.
;-)
This cat looks very wise and experienced. Perhaps she is hoping you will be the one to let her in.
Reminds me of our sweet cat from years ago named Cricket!
I certainly hope someone is taking care of this cat. It's hard not having a family in the winter.
