Rustic and beautiful. Don't you wish that old fence could tell you all that it has seen over the years. I love old ... it is so full of history. Beautiful EGC ...
East Gwillimbury is a rural town less than an hour north of Toronto, Canada's largest city.
My family calls me CameraGirl because I take my camera with me wherever I go.

Wonderful post.
Best regards!
Doesn't appear to have laid fallow for too long.
Very pretty photos! Great fence shots :)
Aaa... The fence remembers but is not telling. There is a romance in the art of this fence.
Great history has been behind this fence and if only it could talk. Marvellous shots.
Lovin' this...so quaint, a bit bittersweet knowing the farm no longer exists, yet beautiful with the snow covered scene!!
What a pretty scene, it is a shame the farm is gone.. Lovely photos. Enjoy your day!
The first shot looks like a post card.
Looks like work to me but sure is pretty till in our case the cows would find those holes:) Great shots. Hug B
So sad, seeing an old farm left to go wild; but your beautiful shots captured the bittersweet beauty perfectly!
A snowy fence, I love it.
I love those old wooden farm fences. Sadly they are slowly disappearing. Your shots are beautiful.
Such a lovely old fence it is as well!
Love these old wooden fences!! Your photos are so nice!!!
Beautiful fence shots!

Have a fine day

Very picturesque.

see so many of those fences around here. We even had some at our old house.
Great shots.
Very pretty, and so characteristic of the countryside.
It's sad that the farm is gone and the fence is falling down. It looks pretty in the snow though. Beautiful photos. Enjoy the day!
The disheveled fence looks pretty, like ink strokes against blank white snow, now that it is no longer a barrier. :)
There is a lot of strength in old fences. Great pictures...
Have a fine day..

I think this could be the start of a country song - "Broken Fences." I'll work on it.
Beautiful pics of fences against the snow. Something nostalgic about them

I love the rustic look of it.
Great photo. Looks like something out of an old movie.
Beautiful fence.

nice countryside with sparse colros. Love the orange, white green and bown tones in it. :)
i love it!

Looks very "antique" ! Beautiful shots !
Wonderful shots, EG. Sure makes me want to explore the area.
a little worse for the wear but still beautiful!!
Pretty scenes. I love those split rail fences.
Nice colormood, the fence is aged in honour...
The situation reminds of the song "Don't fence me in" :-)
This is sad. A fence with nothing left to protect.
And such a nice fence it is, EG!
Waht a pity that farm doesn't exist
Oh I love the look of old fences.....so much history there.
Ooh, now those are nice shots, lovely.
Lovely pictures!
Sad about the farm being gone but that fence looks quite nice and very wintery. I bet it would be neat to buy the property and rebuild there.
out of time ...
For some odd reason, I'm thinking battlefield rather than farm here...
An old fence like that is a thing of beauty.
The contrast of snow, some grass, and the dark fencing is great. Have a great weekend!
Old, but still there...
There are so many stone fences around here that have outlived the farms that built them. I wonder what that means... Love your pics!
That's a great fence - even though it has obviously seen its better days. There are some days that I think I look and feel like this fence!
Such a beautiful fence! I wonder what the farm looked like.
Very charming!

Beautiful fence shots but they break my heart!

Your first photograph is a delightful scene.
It might be old but it still is beautiful!
Sad that the farm is gone... but the scene is still pretty. Especially with that thin blanket of snow.
Love these images.
Very nice. It reminds me that it is still winter although we are having spring weather in Utah.
I'm letting the romantic in me loose. To me it looks like an artwork, more beautiful than it ever did as a fence.
Those rail fences are really pretty, but even in good shape, my goats would laugh at them.
